Paper insert in front of CD case has a trombone player in a cowboy hat, a Saddle Bronc rider, 2 dancers, 2 flag dancers, fireworks, the Saddle Dome, and the city of Calgary skyline with the Rocky Mountains behind. Paper insert in back of CD is yellow, with track listings in black font, and a row of tuba and trumpet players.

The Stampede Showband was created in 1971 to serve as music ambassadors for the Calgary Stampede, and have over 200 appearances or performances yearly. This CD represents a sampling of the band’s work from 2001 and 2002, and features music from the Calgary Stampede Showband's field show at the World Music Contest entitled "To Tame the Perilous Skies".
