In the foreground, slightly to the right, is a man wearing dark pants, shirt, and jacket, as well as a smaller western hat, standing on his horse. The horse has a dark coat and mane, and is equipped with a western saddle and blanket. There is a white border around the photograph. The number 65 is stamped on the reverse of the photo.
Photo may be of activities at OH Ranch.
Photo most likely dates to 1946 or earlier, as Velox photographic paper was branded as "Kodak Velox" after 1946.
